Family Planning Funding in Texas is being cut. The total amount to cover the next 14 months is 12.4 million dollars. It is a cut of 79 percent. Planned Parenthood will receive no funding. University Health System will receive 610,500 dollars which is down from 1.77 million. This federally funded program has saved Texas money by reducing Medicaid costs to care for unplanned pregnancies
