POV presents the story of Joesy Gerrish, an undocumented worker from Fiji who tenderly cares for Haru Tsurumoto, a 95-year-old Japanese American woman, during the last months of her life. As Joesy tends to Haru, we learn that the two developed a close friendship before Haru’s health declined and she lost the ability to speak.
