Whether it did influence Frank Lloyd Wright, we will never know. But Wright probably knew the house; he probably did visit it. We see in the Emery House a fascinating design as a first major work by Walter Burley Griffin of taking certain inspiration from what was in the air in the Midwest at that time and perhaps pointing in certain ways as mentioned spatially, especially, to the future.
