And also when she came to L.A., she had her last relationship with her last husband and it really hadn't worked out. Even when she was very ill and didn't think that her partner was giving her respect that she thought she was due, she decided to break away and go on her own one more time as she had done so many times over her life. Seems like she was always in movement, one kind of movement or another, whether it was jobs or relationships. And when she didn't like what her partner was doing she just said goodbye to him and even in her very dire condition she had a certain sense of integrity she wanted to keep intact, and didn't want to be with him anymore when she had her last few days or few weeks. When she came to L.A. that was it. I basically promised her that she'd be with either me or with Carlos. So, she's been with me now for about six years and I think it's time for her to go back. So, that's what the plan is, and that's what I'll be talking to Raul and Carlos about, and maybe even my brother Luis who we haven't talked to in about five or six years.
He's a brother that has a certain view of the family that he decided to want to be on his own years ago, even before my mother passed away. He really only came together with the family when she was at the hospital and kind of wanted to be part of that. But after that he really didn't want to be part of the family anymore, so my brother Carlos is in touch with him more. But I haven't really talked to him in six years. I'll probably talk to him when I go back. See what he thinks and if he's got something to say. Maybe we can reconcile, even, I don't know.
