The U.S. Army Brass Quintet

The U.S. Army Brass Quintet is an element of the U.S. Army Band, "Pershing's Own." Formed in 1972, the quintet is unique among today's professional brass quintets in that four of the five members have been together since 1978. The ensemble plays regularly at the White House and for official ceremonies in the nation's capitol. Over the years, the group has performed for practically every major national and international music convention in the United States. Their travels have taken them to Europe, Asia, Australia, Great Britain and across North America. The Quintet has premiered numerous compositions for brass quintet and has generated countless new arrangements. Their recordings, television appearances and live radio broadcasts in both the United States and Great Britain have brought their music to millions.
