In 1991 he joined "SNL" and was nominated for an Emmy Award as part of the writing team. Two years later he made the transition to cast member status. He has appeared in the feature films "Coneheads" and "Wayne's World 2," based on "SNL" sketches. In 2000 he left "SNL" to join the regular cast of NBC's "The Michael Richards Show" and in 2002 he joined the NBC sitcom "Leap of Faith."
