President Obama this week laid out his plan for reducing U.S. forces in Afghanistan saying that coalition forces there are, “meeting our goals.” But reaction has been mixed and has crossed party lines with concerns that the President didn’t go far enough countered with calls that Mr. Obama overruled generals in the field who wanted a more limited withdrawal. Martha Raddatz of ABC News and Doyle McManus of the Los Angeles Times will report on the decision, the timetable and the reaction, as well as what it means for the America's involvement in future wars.
On the campaign trail, the long awaited candidacy of former Utah Governor & U.S Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman became official making him the ninth major candidate to declare for the 2012 Republican nomination.
