This week President Obama praised a bipartisan immigration plan that would address the issue of 11 million undocumented immigrants. Six years ago, President George W. Bush's 2007 attempt at an immigration bill collapsed in the U.S. Senate, exposing a deep lack of support among Bush's own Republicans.
