November 22, 1963, John F. Kennedy is assassinated in Dallas, Texas

Forty-seven years ago today John F. Kennedy was shot in Dallas, Texas. He was the fourth President to be assassinated in office after Abraham Lincoln, James Garfield and William McKinley. Take some time today to reflect on a day that shook the American consciousness.
