I thought this young woman made such and important point; we need to stop painting pretty pictures of who we are as a nation and tell our ugly truths, for it is in the telling of the truth, we can all learn from the mistakes made and make this a better nation.
atI will be following this closely because I am an African-American woman, an educator and a person who loves this country and would to see some sense of true racial healing and understanding before I go.
