    May, you are exactly right that it is the immigration debate in this country where this sort of self-suffering energy is needed right now. The activism most likely to get you beat up or detained these days would be to try to de-stabilize the detention centers that some non-citizens are held in, some for months and years at a time. Can you imagine how the debate would change if 400 young people came together to focus the country’s attention on the inhumanity of that system? Looking forward to meeting you in Anniston!
