Back in the sixties, Danny was going to Boy's Tech and learning a trade as I believe it was a machinist, and that's where he was working at the time when the draft notice came for him at Harnischfeger. And that basically, probably would have been his job maybe for the rest of his life. Back in the sixties, that's the way it was. You had one job and you could retire from that job. It's different nowadays.

Girls, as far as me... I took typing and office practice and I ended up with a clerical job at Allen-Bradley and back then, I think, everyone that lived on the Southside of Milwaukee worked at Allen-Bradley either in the office or in the factory. That was just a given.
