Keith Baker is an independent valuer and dealer, concentrating on all aspects of late-19th- and 20th-century decorative arts, having been the head of the Art Nouveau & Decorative Arts department at Phillips Auctioneers, London for 23 years. He regularly lectures internationally, having a particular interest in silver, jewelry, and accessories from 1860 to the present day. He is currently a decorative arts consultant for Dreweatt Neate in Newbury, and has contributed to the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW books How to Spot a Fake and The A-Z of Twentieth Century Antiques. Along with his wife Fiona, he authored Twentieth Century Furniture for Carlton Books.
