The Fargo Public Library and the Bookmobile are hosting a poster contest for kids 7-10 and 11-14. Youth are invited to explore the theme "How technology affects my life." First and second place prizes ($100 and $50 savings bonds) will be awarded in each age group.

On February 10, 1998, the Fargo Public Library will launch a free six-week Science Odyssey program for young people in grades 4-8. Each week participants will engage in hands-on science and meet local scientists. To join, students need to submit a short essay on why they are interested in A Science Odyssey.
