Remembering Marvin Hamlisch

Famed composer Marvin Hamlisch passed away this week at 68. He won every award there was, Grammys, Oscars, Emmys, and a Tony. It's hard to say what music Hamlisch was best known for — "The Way We Were," "A Chorus Line," or maybe "The Sting"? His work was beloved by millions, including the contestants of BROADWAY OR BUST.

Here's the New York Times obituary  and also an NPR story  remembering Marvin Hamlisch.

Also, here's BROADWAY OR BUST's Elizabeth Romero singing "Disneyland"  from the 1986 musical "Smile" by Marvin Hamlisch and Howard Ashman.
