Who are some of your role models in entertainment?
My heroines of entertainment would have to be Sutton Foster and Rachel McAdams. I would die to have as good of a voice as Sutton Foster and would love to have Rachel McAdams’s acting ability. Both artists have something that I also aspire to have, which is versatility to play many characters with different personalities, looks, and lives.
What sets you apart from other performers?
What sets me apart is that other than being a thespian, I am also a jock. I love sports and competing, and I am always active... Another thing that sets me apart is my leadership roles I’ve had throughout high school. I was captain of my field hockey team, president of the drama club, a Link Crew Leader (mentors incoming freshman), and I created a Glee Club that will hopefully carry on when I graduate.
Why is performing important to you?
Performing is important to me because it is one of the only things in life that makes me feel ultimate happiness and bliss. The satisfaction I get from performing on a stage is overwhelming. When I am on stage, the outside world fades away and I don’t worry about what other people think or the social cues I have to follow… Performing is how I express myself and I never want to stop.
