How did you get into theater?

When I first walked into the theater department at Wayzata High School, I was scared out of my mind. But the people in this department helped me break out of my comfort zone, and taught me to take risks. They were accepting of everything I did, and the results of this immediately showed in my character. I looked up to these people, and wanted very much to be like them. Supporting, genuine, and social. This changed me into an outgoing individual. My confidence level grew.

What challenges have you had to overcome to get here?

Believe it or not, I used to be incredibly shy. I was introverted, quiet, and wouldn’t talk to people I hadn’t known for a while. When placed in a social situation, or a classroom full of people I didn’t know, I was honestly much more content sitting silently, looking at the floor.
