How did you get into theater?
My sister actually convinced me to audition for our school's musical when I was in seventh grade. We were doing "Beauty and the Beast." I'd been interested in performing for a while. I had been playing guitar and singing since elementary school, and, of course, I really liked the Disney movie. Ever since that experience, I've been involved in theater ever since participating in summer camps, voice lessons, dance lessons, and more.
Who are some of your role models in entertainment?
There are plenty of bands that I look up to for inspiration with music in general. Norbert Leo Butz and Anthony Rapp are my major role models in theater, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a screen actor that I really look up to.
How has your experience being in your high school musical affected you?
It is an experience that I will not soon forget. That's for sure. It has taught me so much about the world and about myself. Because of it, I feel more confident and more prepared for the real world.
