Joseph Stanislaw


Joseph Stanislaw, co-author of The Commanding Heights: The Battle for the World Economy, is a leading advisor on international economics, energy markets, and corporate strategy. He received his BA from Harvard University and his Ph.D. in economics from Edinburgh University. Stanislaw was a professor of economics at Cambridge University, where he was also a member of the Energy Research Group in the university's Cavendish Laboratory. He was senior economist at the OECD International Energy Agency in Paris and currently serves on the board of the Global Decisions Group and the American University in Paris. With Daniel Yergin, Stanislaw is co-founder and president of Cambridge Energy Research Associates, an independent energy research and information firm in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
