What did you think of today's challenge?

Today's challenge was exactly what this competition is all about. I know that after yesterday's stumble I had to shine.

What did you prepare today?

Aqua Fresco de Mango; Asia de Cuba slaw; Monte Cristo cubano; Mojo flank steak black beans and rice; sweet plantains; Serrano gual; natillas

How do you think you did? Is there anything you wish you'd done better?

I felt really good about my leadership skills, but I definitely need to taste more.

What was the highlight of the day's events?

Not going home and knowing that Michelle Bernstein would have me in her kitchen. Plus I knew the monte cristo cubano was bank.

Are there any lessons you took away from today?

Taste more.
