Hollywood Censored: Movies, Morality & the Production Code

As the program demonstrates, concerns about violence and sex on screen are as old as the movies themselves. Background dialog during the broadcast?
Dave Snell - 09:57pm Feb 2, 2000

During the broadcast for morality in the movies, there were many segments where you could hear (though not always clearly) background dialog ... was that supposed to be there? It was usually evident during the portions of old films.

Thanks.
