Matthew Woodard

Matthew Woodard (composer/violinist), 13, is an eighth grade student at Academy Hill School in Springfield, Massachusetts. In addition to composing, he studies violin at New England Conservatory’s Preparatory School in Boston. Last summer, Matthew attended the Yellow Barn Young Artist Program in Vermont, where he composed the work performed today. Outside of music, Matthew enjoys skiing, biking, cooking, painting, watching the Food Network, and trying exotic new dishes.
