Allyson Tomsky

Allyson Tomsky (violin), 17, lives in Brooklyn, New York and is a student at Mannes College of Music. She was inspired to play violin at four years old, after seeing a children’s concert where a violinist was dressed up as a lion. She performs in several ensembles, including the New York Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Mannes Prep Philharmonic Orchestra. She has the unique abilities to both speak gibberish and train small animals such as gerbils.
