FRONTLINE won two Emmy awards at Monday’s 33rd Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards.

Revolution in Cairo and Syria Undercover were each awarded an Emmy for Outstanding Coverage of a Breaking News Story in a News Magazine.

“This is a great moment for FRONTLINE,” said Executive Producer David Fanning. “We are thrilled to be recognized by our peers for these two films, which show our continued dedication to covering difficult, complex stories. Congratulations to all involved for their tremendous efforts.”

“For both films, our producers took huge risks to deliver hard-hitting journalism and compelling storytelling in tough, dangerous places,” said Raney Aronson-Rath, FRONTLINE’s deputy executive producer. “These awards are a testament to their brave and important work. We’re so proud of everyone on the teams who worked so hard to make it happen.”
