Regina Taylor is well known to television audiences for her portrayal of Lilly Harper in the acclaimed NBC and PBS series I'll Fly Away, a characterization that won her a Golden Globe and an Emmy nomination for Best Actress in a Series. She was also lauded for her performance as Anita Hill in the 1999 Showtime movie Strange Justice. In addition to film credits that include Courage under Fire and The Negotiator, she is a stage actress (including the off-Broadway play The Vagina Monologues) and playwright/director.
Widely acknowledged as one of America's premier stage actresses, three-time Tony nominee Cherry Jones won the award for her performance in The Heiress. She was also nominated for Our Country's Good and this season's production of Eugene O'Neill's A Moon for the Misbegotten. Movie audiences know her from her roles in the Tim Robbins-directed feature film The Cradle Will Rock, Erin Brockovich, and The Perfect Storm. On television, Ms. Jones has played opposite Gene Wilder in Murder in a Small Town and Lady in Question on A&E, and in Spenser: For Hire on CBS.
