Description
In 1757, half-sisters Cora and Alice Munro, having just disembarked from Scotland, set out northwards from Fort Edward to join their father, Colonel Munro, the British Commander of Fort William Henry. Betrayed by their Indian guide, Magua, who is a leader of a group of Hurons, who are allied with the French. In a series of breathtaking adventures, the schemes of Magua are frustrated by Uncas, "The Last of the Mohicans", his father and their friend Hawkeye, but not before Cora is killed by Magua and Uncas dies trying to rescue her.
