Description
Isabel confesses that her only crime was loving Roger. At the trial, Mr. Morley, the pharmacist, insists that the woman who bought the arsenic corresponds physically with Isabel. Paul asks Charlotte if she remembers anything unusual on the day Harriet confronted the woman on the heath. Charlotte reprimands her husband for his business dealings. Paul confronts George, who signs a contract giving Dangerfield control of the firm. In a letter Paul explains his actions to Isabel
