Description
It is 1946 and Dr. John Finlay is finally coming home to Scotland after completing his war service. He finds his practice run-down, the small town politics the same as ever, and his fiancee is curiously absent. His partner Dr. Cameron is continuing to treat patients, but soon plans to retire. Young Dr. Neil is engaged to join the practice, without Dr. Finlays consent.
