Description
Lillie is pregnant, following a brief affair with Prince Louis of Battenburg. Arthur Jones, an old friend who is in love with Lillie, arranges for her and her mother, Mrs. Le Breton, to stay at his house in Jersey. Lillies husband, Edward Langtry, is despatched to America by the Prince of Wales, who arranges that Lillie shall move to Paris for the birth of her child
