A community struggles to stay together when a controversy arises over the restoration of England's fourteenth century Aldminster Cathedral. Will the parish's money go to maintain the revered all-boys' choir or to restore the Cathedral to its former glory? A two-part miniseries based on a novel by Joanna Trollope (author of The Rector's Wife, also on MASTERPIECE THEATRE), The Choir stars James Fox, David Warner, Jane Asher, and Cathryn Harrison.
