Novel to Film Follow a scene from Charles Dickens' original novel, through Andrew Davies's adaptation of the scene in his screenplay to the final scene as produced by Nigel Stafford-Clark and directed by Justin Chadwick. Before heading on to Bleak House, Esther, Ada and Richard are to spend the night at the home of Mrs. Jellyby, a do-gooder oblivious to the state of her family and household.
