The Reverend Mr. Chadband Greatly admired by Mrs. Snagsby, Chadband is a pompous, hypocritical clergyman, preaching God's love to street-urchin Jo but doing nothing while he starves. Robert Pugh has appeared in several Masterpiece Theatre productions including Miss Marple: A Murder is Announced, The Virgin Queen and Prime Suspect 6. He is working on the film The Last Legion, set in the final days of the Roman Empire, with Colin Firth and Ben Kingsley.
