Nemo A shadowy figure, Nemo (Latin for nobody) is first seen working for Snagsby, copying legal documents by hand. He lodges at Krook's rag-and-bottle shop. His true identity is not known, but it's clear to many that he is a gentleman who has fallen on hard times. John Lynch, originally from Ireland, was educated at St. Colman's College, Newry, and Central School of Speech and Drama, London. His previous drama credits include The Secret of Roan Inish, Princess Caraboo, Moll Flanders and The Bridge of San Luis Rey. Lynch is also a writer, producer and director. In 2000 he wrote, directed and starred in Best, the life story of former Manchester United soccer legend, George Best.
