Bramwell, Series VI
Bramwell is a simply brilliant series. Jemma Redgrave was very believable as Dr. Bramwell. The show has great storylines and was extremely well-researched. It is British filmmaking at it's best. More of the same please!
How gratifying to know that virtually every Bramwell fan has the same take as I did on the final episodes -- they seemed to be characters and scripts from some other drama, not our Bramwell. I can't even recall now if I watched part of the penultimate episode and gave up, or if I actually started watching the final episode before flinging up my hands in horror and despair. Bramwell was great television drama; the first five series rank with The Forsyte Saga and The Jewel in the Crown as some of the best I've ever seen. But I prefer to just forget there ever was a Series VI.
