I've been addicted to Masterpiece Theatre since I was in sixth grade. Casanova is truly moving, funny and surprisingly frank. However, I'm confused about the futuristic set design, which makes the last part of the story look like an Adam Ant music video. What did I miss?
I thought that the first half of Casanova was hilarious. It's interesting how the life of one man can be so funny and yet somehow serious. The irreverence of Casanova makes him the most hated, but strangely, the most loved character in the whole production.
