Mrs. Mortimer Geraldine James A native of Berkshire, England, Geraldine James has appeared in several groundbreaking films and television programs, including Gandhi and the Masterpiece Theatre titles The Jewel in the Crown, Moll Flanders and Rebecca. She won the Best Actress Award at the Venice Film Festival in 1989 for her performance in She's Been Away. She is featured in the upcoming Masterpiece Theatre mini-series White Teeth.
