Who's Who

Philip Dorr Philip Dorr
Sam Heughan

Philip Dorr has been educated, like his father before him, at Stowe. He went straight into the army, where he's in training at Sandhurst. Philip loves his parents but sometimes finds himself caught between them. When Philip is sent back to the island on a reconnaissance mission, his belief in the power of the Allies comes into conflict with James' determination to protect the people of St. Gregory.

Sam Heughan graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 2003. His theater work there included roles as Konstantin in The Seagull, Razumikhin in Crime and Punishment, Hermes in Prometheus Bound and Romeo in Romeo and Juliet. He made his professional debut on stage as John in Outlying Islands at the Royal Court Theatre. Heughan was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for Most Promising Performance in 2003.
