Stephen wakes up on the floor of the lab and flees, looking for Yasim. In his desperation he calls Eleanor for help. She tells him to check into a hotel and calm down.

When a fire alarm forces him to evacuate his room, Stephen is ambushed and bundled into a van. Stephen comes face-to-face with Russell at his warehouse hideout. After questioning Stephen about Moreton, Yasim and Nadir, a disappointed Russell decides Stephen doesn't know anything and returns him to his hotel

Meanwhile, Nye is out in the Afghanistan desert investigating the site of Michael's death. Nye discovers that someone was seen nearby after the explosion that killed Michael. Back in England, Turney and Gibbon discuss the Moreton assassination. It seems the hit was also aimed at Yasim. The killer won't stop until he's found her.

Stephen returns to the hotel and finds his shoes newly polished outside his door, unaware they have been fitted with an ID tag to track his movements. Moreton's murder makes the news and Stephen calls Eleanor in a desperate state.

Yasim confronts Stephen, angry that he has been following her and Moreton. She fears Michael was murdered because he was trying to prove a link between a tainted Hepatitis B vaccine used in the refugee camps and the virus that killed Nadir. She asks Stephen to help her approach another biochemist, Professor Lawrence Cooper, to do an autopsy on Nadir's body. Stephen uses TIA to find Cooper and persuades him to do the autopsy.

When Stephen returns to Yasim, she is worried that Batz, who had been helping her, has disappeared. Her fear isn't unfounded, given an assassin is moving towards her and Stephen in the market.

Russell pulls up and orders Stephen and Yasim into his van. Russell forces Yasim's revelation that Nadir's body is hidden in Michael's grave. But when they dig up the grave they find a different body altogether and an anguished Russell reveals that he is Nadir's father.

Meanwhile, at the Ezard apartment, a mysterious man lets himself in. It is Michael Ezard, who escaped the explosion meant to kill him, and has secretly reentered the country with a group of refugees and made his way back home.
