Prince John aged nine to fourteen Matthew Thomas played Kipper in a production of Oliver! in front of an audience of 2,000 at The London Palladium. He has also had roles in films Billy Elliot with Jamie Bell, About a Boy with Hugh Grant and the part of Carl, an out-of-control vandal in The Bill.
