Lewis is rebuilding his life after his wife's death and continues having to prove himself to his new boss.
The Inspector Lynley Mysteries: Series VII
Two detectives from opposite sides of the tracks — aristocratic, blue-blooded Thomas Lynley and his acerbic sidekick Barbara Havers, unite in The Inspector Lynley Mysteries: Series VII.When the body of Lynley's godson is discovered more than a decade after its disappearance, Lynley is drawn into the case, leading him first to Rome and then deep into the middle of a new murder inquiry — in which Lynley himself becomes the prime suspect. And, Lynley and Havers friendship is pushed to its limits in a high-profile, psychologically-chilling investigation into the abduction of two teenage girls in a London suburb.
