Michael Cass Richard Coyle A police superintendent, providing protection to Dessie In Shakespeare: Cassio, an honorable Lieutenant. Richard Coyle studied at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School; his film credits include a role in Mike Leigh's critically acclaimed Topsy Turvy and Masterpiece Theatre's Wives and Daughters (in which he played the smitten apprentice, Mr. Coxe). He appears as the bizarre, inept but loveable Jeff Murdock in the hugely successful BBC2 comedy series Coupling. Coyle is scheduled to appear with The English Touring Theatre in "The York Realist" by Peter Gill at the Royal Court Theatre, London during January and February of 2002.
