Bill Otley

Tom Bell, who died on October 4, 2006 at the age of 73, began his career on the stage in the '40s. A native of Liverpool, Bell was nominated for a BAFTA award for his performance as the sexist Bill Otley in the first Prime Suspect. He also had memorable performances in the television program Out (1979) and the 1990 film The Krays.
