Katy Murphy, a Glasgow native, won the 2001 Royal Television Society's Best Actress award for her role in the television film Donovan Quick, which also starred Colin Firth and Parminder Nagra. She played Jenny Wren in Masterpiece Theatre's Our Mutual Friend and Michelle in Me and Mrs. Jones.
