6'2" actor Stephen Tompkinson attended the Central Drama School in London. He has since appeared on stage, radio, television and film. Frequently employing his comedic skills, Tompkinson has appeared in the television series The Vicar of Dibley and Ballykissangel. He played the title character, Jim Dixon, in Masterpiece Theatre's Lucky Jim and appeared on Mystery! as Detective Inspector Slack in Miss Marple: The Murder at the Vicarage.
