Kevin Whately (Inspector Robbie Lewis) and Laurence Fox (DS Hathaway) return for all-new season of the beloved
Inspector Lewis series…but their characters don't return unchanged. As Lewis struggles to adjust to life in retirement, Hathaway has resolved his crisis of crime-fighting faith during an extended break from the force and earned his promotion to Inspector. But the presence of murder and mayhem in the seemingly perfect academic haven of Oxford remains unaltered, requiring the intuitive experience of Lewis and the cool intellect of Hathaway to tackle three riveting new cases, however altered circumstances of their partnership may be.
In Entry Wounds (October 5), a tricky case bridges the worlds of neurosurgery, blood sports and animal rights. In The Lions of Nemea (October 12), the investigation of an American classics student's brutal murder yields only secrets and murky motives. Beyond Good and Evil (October 19) reopens Lewis' first successful case when the original murders are resumed with the original weapon.
Joining returning stars Clare Holman (forensic pathologist Dr. Laura Hobson) and Rebecca Front (Chief Superintendent Jean Innocent) is Angela Griffin as Hathaway's new practical and easygoing new partner, Detective Sergeant Lizzie Maddox. Inspector Lewis Season 7 is produced by Chris Burt, who has been at the helm since the series' beginning in 2006.
