Miss Marple, Season 7

Season 7

Acclaimed British actress Julia McKenzie (Cranford) returns to her iconic role as Agatha Christie's spinster sleuth Miss Marple, solving three cunningly complicated new whodunits with a gentle manner and shrewd intellect: A Caribbean Mystery, Greenshaw's Folly and Endless Night.

A Caribbean Mystery (Sunday, September 21 at 8pm) costars Sir Anthony Sher (God on Trial). Filmed on location in South Africa, A Caribbean Mystery features a cameo by its screenwriter, Charlie Higson, as unassuming American ornithologist James Bond. Greenshaw's Folly (Sunday, September 21 at 9:30pm) reunites Julia McKenzie with two Cranford costars: Kimberly Nixon (Louisa) and Julia Sawalha (Mrs. Cresswell). Endless Night (Sunday, September 28 at 9pm) was adapted from the Agatha Christie novel and remains faithful to the book with one major exception: the original didn't include Miss Marple!
