Bay City Rollers Bay City Rollers
Bye Bye Baby

Formed in Edinburgh in 1967, the Bay City Rollers were a Beatles cover band featuring brothers Derek (on drums) and Alan (on bass) Longmuir. By 1971 they were in the UK Top 10 with a new version of Keep On Dancing by the Gentrys.

After the addition of the Edinburgh-born trio of Les McKeown (vocals), Stuart "Woody" Wood (guitar) and Eric Faulkner (guitar), they had a steady stream of teen-focused hits, including Remember (Sha-La-La), Shang-A-Lang, Summerlove Sensation and All Of Me Loves All Of You.

Rollermania ruled. The band dressed in tartan and developed a fanatical following. In 1975 the Rollers had two consecutive UK number 1 hits: Bye Bye Baby (a Four Seasons cover) and Give A Little Love. They topped the US charts with Saturday Night the same year.
