Greta Neimanas

Greta Neimanas

Greta first saw track cycling at the 2004 Athens Paralympics, found a track in her hometown, and began racing. Only two years later, she became a resident athlete at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

Greta made the Beijing Paralympics team in 2008. She medaled at the 2009, 2010, and 2011 World Championships and will also compete for the U.S. at World Championships in February 2012 in Los Angeles.

She recently relocated to Cardiff by the Sea, California, and trains with her roommate, who is also a cycling teammate.

Greta is blogging for MEDAL QUEST in February and March, 2012. She calls her personal blog “Neimanation: A Little Bit of Everything” and posts fun facts like “I sort and eat my M&M’s by color.” She blogs at gretaneimanas.blogspot.com and tweets @gretaneimanas
