Lucky Gold was born and raised in Georgia. He wrote his first play, which he directed and in which he starred, for Mrs. Chitwood's third grade class. He's been trying to top it ever since. His play, A Grave Undertaking, has been produced by the Seattle Rep and the McCarter Theatre among others and is published by Dramatists Play Service. He has written feature films for Universal, Sony, MGM, and Miramax. He has written teleplays for Hallmark Entertainment, Showtime, and the USA Network. His script, Stealing Christmas, with Tony Danza, Lea Thompson, and Betty White, will air this Christmas season on USA.
