Roman George is a medicine man whose body is discovered, surrounded by ancient Navajo symbols, at the abandoned Obsidian Springs housing development. His character is new to the story, appearing in the screenplay but not the book.

As well as performing on stage, actor Harrison Lowe has appeared in numerous film and television projects, including Buffalo Soldiers, Le Jaguar, and Geronimo.
